I’ve been building on the web since 1995, when my IT director handed me a project and told me to learn HTML. I recognized the syntax on sight and never stopped. No degree, no shortcut, just three decades of figuring it out and showing other people how. I’ve learned web design and brand strategy working with Fortune brands.
A California girl in Colorado Springs, artist, former figure skater, former burlesque performer, full-time dog & cat mom. I think in systems and I say what I mean. My one creative filter is a question: “but is it precious?” If something feels too fragile or self-important, it gets cut.
WordPress Websites & Branding · Colorado Springs
- You own everything
- Accessibility built in
I’m a web platform and content professional with 30 years of experience building and running websites, going back to Sega of America in 1996.
Over the last decade and a half that work has centered on enterprise and Fortune brands. I’ve managed large-scale CMS platforms like the marketing digital resource for Intel, managed a portfolio of 20+ Procter & Gamble CPG brand sites, run regulated content for Capital One, and architected employee knowledge systems for CarMax and SEGA of America. I work hands-on across WordPress, Contentful, Shopify, BigCommerce, Drupal, Square, and SharePoint, with accessibility (WCAG AA) and SEO fundamentals built into everything I ship. Today I bring that enterprise playbook to small businesses and creators through Emberloom studio.
- Managed Intel's Digital Resource Center on WordPress, owning an enterprise site end to end for global audiences.
- Built and manged a portfolio of 20+ Procter & Gamble consumer brand sites, roughly 1,000 pages with millions of views.
- Handled regulated web content for Capital One, where accuracy and compliance were non-negotiable.
- Fluent across every major platform: WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Square, Drupal, Contentful, SharePoint.
- Accessibility (WCAG AA) baked into everything I build, so your site works for everyone and stays out of legal trouble.
- Supporting nonprofit and community websites since 2006, long before it was a business.
